I am looking for any information on my Husted / Kesterson families.
They lived in Cass County back in the 1880s. I would appreciate any info directing me to help. Thanks a lot. Claudia Eagan

In 1850 Clement JOHNSON, bro Thomas, and several other kin moved to Williamson County from Wilson Co, TN. By the 1860 census they had all returned to TN. What happened to move them to your county (cheap land?) - and what made them all leave (bad weather?).

I'm looking for information on Peter Merkle or Lucas Merkle. I know Peter ran for mayor of Peoria at one time. He was born in Metamora. I'd appreciate any information anyone might have.

My Grandfather and Grandmother are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Greenfield Illinois.
My Grandpa was Robert R. Banister and Grandma was Sarah Cannedy Banister.

My question is I am trying to locate the pall barers of my Grandfather: their names were Albert Meng, Bob Middleton, Charlie Burroughs, Mr. Stringer, J.D. Roth. I would like to know more about these gentlemen and if any of the family is still alive I would like to know if they knew anything about my grandfather, stories etc...
any help deeply appreciated.

I am looking for any records that might be in Galesburg, Il from the 1860s. My Great, Great, Grandfather F W Dudley was listed on the census of Galesburg in 1860. His father was David A Dudley and was married to Julia A Dudley. D A Dudley was also listed on the census of 1860 and 1870 in Galesburg.
Would there be any records of land ownership then? Deaths? Marriages?

In 1974 there was a bride by the name of Terry Vale Christenson
that married Dennis Fredrickson in Utah. Their marriage record states that she was from Oak Forest, Illinois. She had 2 sons - went back to the Chicago area and then died about 1993. Her father was a Bernard Christenson........her sons (one carries the Bernard name) would like to learn about their mother's family. Any information on how to locate this family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
